IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR OUR GUESTS
REGARDING BOOKINGS


BOOKING INFORMATION

    • We politely ask for all reservations to be made with us online. 🛎️ Book Now 🛎️
    • Bookings for parties of over 10 people will need to be made with us directly.  You can do this by ringing 01772 821768 or alternatively sending an email to bookings@bar1842.co.uk
    • All reservations require a credit/debit card to secure the booking.  A deposit is taken per person.  This will be taken at the point of booking and deducted from your bill on the day.
    • Please note; any deposit taken is non-transferable/non-refundable. If any of your party does not attend they forfeit their deposit.
    • Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that multiple bookings by the same party will be sat near to one another. We will try our best to accommodate where possible.
    • If you need to amend or cancel a booking please call us on 01772 821768 with at least 72 hours notice otherwise we cannot guarantee we can accommodate any changes.  If cancelling any deposit paid will be forfeit.
    • All tables have a fixed table time allocation of 2 hours.  NB; Please note if you wish to stay with us for longer ask your server on the day and if we have availability we will try our best to accommodate your request where possible.
    • We politely ask you to arrive on time for your reservation.  If you are running late please let us know.  If you are more than 15 minutes late and we haven’t been advised we cannot guarantee that we can hold your table and any deposit will be lost, and your table potentially given to other guests waiting.
    • Pre-orders are required for all parties of 10 or more
    • NB; for Christmas reservations pre-orders will be required from tables of 7 or more
    • A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to bookings of 10 or more
    • Please do not enter the venue if you or your guests are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

To advise that although restrictions have been lifted we still ask all our staff and guests to be vigilant.  We continue to have screens up at points of the venue to provide some additional protection to the bar staff and encourage our customers to be respectful of each other’s space.  Although face coverings are no longer a legal requirement it is the choice of each customer if you still want to wear them.  Please do not enter the venue should you or any of your party have been exposed to anyone that has Covid 19 and/or experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
